We are looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to work 26.5 hours per week (five mornings and two afternoons). Principal duties will be to engage with parents / carers and families to support early intervention and guidance and to increase engagement with the school in order to improve learning outcomes for pupils. There will also be a requirement to provide support for pupils with behavioural, social and emotional concerns. Knowledge of and experience with Early Help and Attendance Services would be an advantage but not essential.

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have approximately 600 pupils on roll, organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
