Due to the promotion of our Deputy to Headship, the Governing Body of The Churchill School wish to appoint a teacher with a proven track record of excellent classroom practice who is child centred and will suport our school values and ethos. 

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning, and with experience of successfully leading improvement and raising standards to work in partnership with our new Headteacher to take this forward looking school from "Good" to "Outstanding" in the next Ofsted inspection.

This rare opportunity to join such a committed team in our oversubscribed school requires someone who can:

  • demonstrate a commitment to, and the impact of, a focus on the well-being of pupils and others within the learning community;
  • a deep belief that experiential learning, and the environment in which children learn, underpins all learning;
  • evidence of the impact of thorough assessment on pupils' learning.
