TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS

(Required for April 2017)

Every Child, Every Lesson, Every Day

We are seeking to recruit an excellent Teacher of Mathematics to join our team. The successful candidate must be talented and committed, with the personality, skills and drive necessary to inspire our students.

In 2014 our school was rated as ‘good’ in all areas by Ofsted, who praised our teachers’ good subject knowledge and enthusiasm as well as strong leadership and a commitment to improving children’s lives.

Our students are ready to learn and our desire for them to succeed is at the heart of everything we do. If you believe you can help to develop their mathematical skills and confidence to new levels then we would like to hear from you.

We welcome applications from NQTs, experienced teachers and those wishing to train as a teacher of Mathematics.

In return you will find a thriving school community and a welcoming environment where your skills will be valued and you will receive high quality professional development opportunities and effective induction. The Mathematics Department is well organised and resourced, with a clear curriculum to guide learners through their seven year journey here. You will receive superb support from the Department and Senior Leadership Team, with resources and planning available to enable you to quickly settle in and deliver high quality learning. Regular department time and shared planning enables consistency and a strong team ethic.

Please visit www.aylesford.kent.sch.uk for more information about the school, and www.wrothamschool.com to learn more about our partner school.
