We are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher who can help our school move from good to outstanding; a highly motivated and experienced KS2 teacher who would also be the leader of a Year Group team of 8+ adults and 120 children. You will be determined to raise attainment and improve outcomes, opportunities and enjoyment for young people and will have a proven track record of accelerating progress in KS2.  We want the children in our school to receive the very best education through an exciting and stimulating curriculum and are looking for someone who has the aspiration and determination to raise the standards of their Year Group.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations and a proven track record in accelerating progress and raising attainment
  • Be keen to learn and develop their teaching and leadership skills
  • Have energy and the determination to make a difference
  • Have substantial subject or year group leadership experience
  • Be a team player with a good sense of humour, have good communication skills and be willing to share ideas with the whole school team
  • Have experience of teaching across KS2
  • Have a secure knowledge of the primary curriculum
