Information about the school

High Firs Primary School is a popular one-form entry Community Primary School for boys and girls aged between 4+ and 11 years (number on role: 210). The school is set in an attractive estate off Goldsel Road in Swanley. The school is easily reached from the main road by a series of paths between the houses and linking roads for ease of access.

The school is set in pleasant surroundings with shrubs and trees. The children have a playground, with opportunities for both games and quieter activities, and an adjoining playing field which they use for both playtime and PE. Our grounds have recently been enhanced by the development of a woodland area into an exciting outdoor learning area.

In addition to woodland adventures, our children are now benefitting from Tilly, our school dog and lessons for younger children in bike riding as well as swimming. We pride ourselves in our provision that is designed to cater for a wide range of different learning styles and character types, such that our school genuinely feels like one big, happy family.

High Firs is supported by both our Governing Body and the Friends of High Firs Primary School Association. Pupils are well supported by parents, and we are very proud of the standards of behaviour set at the school.
