The governors at West Hill Primary School wish to appoint a highly professional School Business Manager to join their senior leadership team. 

We are looking for someone with a background in schools financial management alongside excellent people, organisational and communication skills to work at our forward thinking and ambitious school.

You will need to:

• Be willing to make an outstanding contribution to our school and support the senior management team in school improvement;
• Have excellent understanding of finance and budget management, personnel procedures and resource management;
• Be exceptionally organised and efficient with an eye for detail;
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as flexibility in demanding situations;
• Have the ability to lead and manage a committed school administration team;
• Have a clear understanding of the needs of health and safety within a school;
• Be able to negotiate with our school providers and contractors for the best value;
• Be committed to high standards and improving achievement for all;
• Be dedicated to providing a highly efficient support service to enable high quality teaching for all of our children;
• Look to seek out income opportunities for our school;
• Be able to provide a friendly and warm welcome to our parents, governors and the wider community.
