Laleham Gap School is looking to appoint a new highly organised, proactive and effective School Business Manager to work with the Headteacher and Governors. The successful applicant will take overall responsibility for the Operational Management of the School Finances, HR, Facilities, Strategic IT, Catering, Cleaning, Health and Safety and all school related administrative functions within the school.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fulfill a wide ranging role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven financial management experience along with excellent IT and strong leadership abilities, use of initiative and interpersonal skills. Experience of working in a similar role and/or in a school with relevant School Business Manager qualifications would be desirable but we would welcome applications from those with equivalent experience gained from a different environment.

This is an exciting and exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to hold a key position in the Management Team of a successful, vibrant special school.

Laleham Gap is a Communication and Interaction Special School. We have pupils aged from 4 to 18 years of age. Most of our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. Most pupils will achieve some GCSEs or equivalent at age 16. Laleham Gap is a new, high quality and well-resourced environment and the opportunity to work with an established, experienced and highly motivated team.
