The Governors of Kingsnorth CE Primary School wish to appoint a Mid-day Supervisor (7.5 hour contract) to become part of our welfare support team.

The position will be as required Monday to Friday - 1.5 hours per day, term time only (possibly from 11:45 pm to 1.15 pm) and will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children during their play activities.

The successful applicant will be paid within Kent Range 3, pro rata from £15,102 - £16,799 for a part time appointment.

This is a demanding but rewarding role which can make lunchtimes a central part of our school provision.  It is essential that the successful candidate can effectively deal with difficult and sensitive situations while adhering to the School’s Safeguarding and Confidentiality Policies.

Kingsnorth CE Primary School is an exciting and vibrant place to learn and develop. We were judged as outstanding in our SIAMS. In our most recent OFSTED as a ‘Good School’.

We are also one of 34 English Hub school’s across the country. We are an active and leading school within Aquila (The Diocese of Canterbury Academies Trust - www.diocant-aquila.org). We work in strong partnership with other schools across Ashford, South Kent and beyond, providing support and learning opportunities for our staff.

We are a flag ship school for the Inclusion Quality Mark and are extending this by working with Nurture UK to further develop our provision as we understand that all behaviour is communication.
