We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with effect from September 2016 to work 30 hours per week, term time only. The successful applicant should be prepared to work across all key stages (EYFS/KS1/KS2). Experience of supporting a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs is highly desirable together with NVQ Level 3 or proven equivalent. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and wants to work as part of a team to ensure that all children achieve their potential in a happy and safe environment. You will also need: • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • A friendly, approachable and flexible manner • The ability to work on your own initiative with good time management skills The successful applicant will be required to supervise children at playtime and/or lunch time on a rota basis - an alternative break will be provided. We work closely with our community, especially All Saints' Church, and have a PTFA which helps organise many events. PE and music specialists provide additional curriculum enrichment. All early years classrooms have their own, purpose-built outside learning environment. Our Pastoral & Wellbeing Manager offers highly effective support to our pupils and their families.
