We need:

• An original and emotionally intelligent classroom practitioner who understands how children learn and is able to reflect this in their own practice to teach our wonderful  mixed Year 3/4 class
• An ability to enthuse, engage and motivate the children
• A commitment to the highest standards of attainment and achievement
• An ability to communicate well and work actively as part of a team
• A willingness to further develop and widen your own skills and take on board advice
• An ability to communicate, work well with and engage with parents
• An ability to use ICT to effectively enhance learning.

You will find experienced and supportive colleagues and a culture of encouraging improvement from the Senior Leadership Team.

Subject responsibility will depend on the successful candidate’s skills. NQTs through to more experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

Information about the school

Monkton CEP School is a small and friendly Church of England school with a strong Christian ethos, we have 100 children on roll. The school is set in a fantastic countryside location, on the fringe of Thanet and has a terrific school site.

Our motto is Compassion, Courage, Justice - Jesus said, 'Go and do the same.' With a warm, supportive atmosphere we, including supportive parents and carers, all work together to ensure every child achieves their full potential. We are looking for someone who will bring their passion for learning to join our dynamic and extremely hardworking team.
