Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.’ Albert Einstein.

Are you passionate about providing all children with the opportunity to succeed? Do you value all areas of the curriculum equally? Does it sadden you to see children missing Art to do Arithmetic? If so we have a truly exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring teacher to lead ‘Creativity across the Curriculum’. At Otford, we believe that there is more to successful learning than just SATs results. In fact, we believe that a creative curriculum results in better learning of core subjects.

Our children achieve well but we want them to remember their learning experience at our school with a smile and laughter. We want to celebrate every child’s achievement whether it is in geography or grammar, music or mathematics; we want to develop our curriculum so every day is special and memorable.

Otford is a fabulous place for creativity because we already have:

  • Dedicated, hard-working staff who are passionate
  • Amazing children who are kind, courageous and curious
  • A community that helps each other and develops together
  • Supportive parents that want to help more!
  • A truly spectacular site with amazing potential for outdoor learning
  • Governors who understand the pressures of the curriculum and embrace new ideas

If this intrigues you, then you may well be the person we are looking for! We would also consider offering MPS plus TLR for the right candidate.  Please do arrange a visit; we can guarantee you will feel welcome.
