We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking member of staff to supervise and manage our After School Club, IMPS. IMPS is a successful after school club that caters for between 15 and 30 children (aged 4-11) Monday to Friday during term time.

This is a permanent position to start on Wednesday 7th September. The working hours will be between 3pm and 6pm Monday to Friday (term time only), with an additional three hours per week for planning and preparation time. The club runs from 3.20pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. The post would especially suit someone with a qualification and/or experience in childcare/working with children.

We are looking for someone that:

  • enjoys working with children
  • can effectively work with and manage a small team of adults to deliver and excellent experience for the children
  • can engage with parents
  • would complete session planning and other paperwork conscientiously
  • will work within set procedures and guidelines for good practice when running an after-school club

Ightham Primary School is situated in an idyllic rural setting and caters for up to 210 pupils accommodated in seven classes. We place the children, who are well behaved and motivated, at the heart of everything that we do. They benefit from many opportunities to take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and at the end of the school day.

We received an Ofsted inspection in March 2020 and the school was graded as outstanding in all areas.
