Cornwallis Academy have an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Media department and take on the role as Head of Department on a full time, permanent basis. We are looking for a teacher who is really passionate and excited about teaching Media and motivated to inspire our young people.

 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the skillset of being able to lead a successful team, developing innovative schemes of works and illustrate excellent understanding of data analysis to continue to improve attainment and progress outcomes for our students.

 

The focus of the Media department at Cornwallis Academy is to ensure that students make outstanding progress and feel passionately towards the subject. We have a variety of successful Media courses at both GCSE and A level, as well as Level 3 Creative Media Production and A level Film Studies.

 

As well as our state of the art facilities, we can offer you a laptop computer with access to a high range of high quality teaching and learning resources.
