Assitant Finance Officer - 14 hours per week - flexible working arrangements.

The Rochester Diocesan Board of Education is seeking to appoint an part-time Assistant Finance Officer to join the Education team based at the Diocesan offices in Rochester.

The Assistant Finance Officer will work closely with the Deputy Director of Education to assist with the effective management of the Board of Education’s financial operation.    

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a finance department in a school, office or charity
  • Good understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Knowledge and be competent in the use IT programs and financial software
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team    

 The Board of Education is an independent charitable company which promotes Christian education and supports 88 Church of England schools and academies across Bromley, Bexley, Medway and Kent.
