We are seeking to appoint an Outstanding Key Stage 2 teacher from September 2016 for a fixed term period of one year. We can offer a highly motivated, fun and dedicated team of staff who are committed to school improvement, professional development and the achievement for all pupils. We are staffed with caring, lively and committed professionals and provide a supportive working environment.

Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all pupils are essential as well as comprehensive knowledge of the national curriculum.

St. Matthew's Church of England Primary School serves the High Brooms and Southborough areas of Tunbridge Wells.  This is a very exciting time to work at St Matthew's as we strive and continue to improve at a phenomenal rate.

Information about the school

St Matthew's High Brooms Church of England Primary School, is a two-form entry Church of England primary school in a semi-urban area of Tunbridge Wells and Southborough. We have an extensive site and large outdoor areas.

At present there are approximately 360 children on roll. The school serves the community of High Brooms, St John's and Southborough.

We are a happy and lively school that places the children at the heart of everything that we do. Children benefit from many opportunities and take part in the excellent range of academic, physical and creative activities that we offer, both during and after school.

Our most recent Ofsted in July 2018 was graded good.
