Good governance for great outcomes

As one of the largest and fastest growing multi-academy trusts (MATs) in the south of England, we are determined not only to do the right thing by the children we educate and the staff we employ, but to do so to the highest possible standards.

We are seeking a highly experienced Company Secretary, well versed in senior organisational administration, to support our Trust Board and academy Governing Bodies in their work as Directors and Governors. Sharing a commitment to our Catholic ethos, you will also be driven to ensure best governance practise at every level of our Trust, including the work of each of our academy governing bodies (currently 20; rising to 30+). Allied to a track record of senior administrative delivery and leadership, your background may be in a similar sized private sector company, charity, local authority or other public sector agency. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and be a member of a recognised accrediting organisation such as the Institute of Company Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) or Institute of Administrative Management (IAM).

This post is part-time (3 days per week or equivalent). A flexible approach, including some evenings will be required according to the necessary demands.

To find out more about this opportunity before applying, please fill in & submit your details below and our Recruitment Partner Rebecca Cox will be in touch. Short listing will be taking place on 8th June and interviews will be held on 22nd & 23rd June.
