We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach, to work within our hardworking and dedicated team of teachers and support staff. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a new role within the school. The successful candidate will deliver sport and physical activities to children across the primary age range. It is a requirement that the successful candidate will also co-ordinate and deliver a range of extracurricular activities in lunch times, playtimes and after school, as well as leading competitive sporting activities.

We are looking for a sports coach who can demonstrate:

  • An excellent knowledge of physical education, health and fitness
  • The ability to provide a range of exciting and engaging sports activities to children across the primary age range which meets the requirements within the National Curriculum
  • The ability to develop and inspire young people
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • A commitment to their own continuous professional development and the professional development of others

Qualification in First Aid is desirable or a willingness to train is essential. A full clean driving licence is preferable.

Beaver Green is a two form entry school in Ashford with a maintained nursery.

The school is sited in a new build with a number of outreach rooms alongside extensive playing fields and play areas.
