Brunswick House is looking to appoint a high performing teaching assistant who has a minimum of two years' experience of working with primary school children to ensure they make the best possible progress.

You will have experience of supporting a wide range of needs, including ASD and a good understanding of how to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their potential.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a good standard of education (equivalent to GCSE grade 'C' in at least English and maths)
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have experience of working alongside pupils with ASD
  • Be flexible in their approach and have a positive work ethic
  • Enjoy working with children and supporting the class teacher to address the children's needs
  • Have lots of energy and a good sense of humour
  • Have a clear understanding of the Key Stage Two curriculum
  • Be committed to the job and prepared to go the extra mile
