Otford Primary School is seeking to appoint a full-time teaching assistant.  We would be particularly interested to meet candidates who have skills in any of the following areas:experience of leading interventions and/or ICT technical support and/or early years. We  want the right person and we may have some flexibility.  

We are looking for someone who:

•will support and scaffold children’s learning in and out of the classroom

•has the ability to make good relationships with children, colleagues and parents

•will lead interventions for individuals and groups with confidence and initiative

•is confident to work independently

•enjoys working as part of a team 

•holds the minimum qualifications of English and Mathematics GCSEs (A-C) /equivalent.

This is a term time only post (38 weeks per year equivalent) with an immediate start date. Interviews will be held on 26 February. Daily hours likely to be 8:45 to 3:45.

Salary according to experience within Kent Range 3.

Information about the school

Otford Primary School is located near Sevenoaks, based in the historic village of Otford. We are a two-form entry school, drawing from the village and immediate surrounding areas with committed staff and parents. We like to maximise links within the village and local community.

The School has undergone buildings and facilities development in the last few years. A large sports field and outdoor spaces are used to maximise physical activity and learning outside the classroom as well as weekly Forest School sessions off site.
