We are looking for a highly organised and dedicated individual to join our team. A working knowledge of the best practice and the ability to inspire and support both children and adults will be a key requirement. An active willingness to contribute to whole school improvement is vital. The post will involve supporting children with learning and liaising with parents and carers to build learning partnerships.

The successful candidate will also be expected to take a full part in organising lunchtime activities for our children who have difficulties in unstructured environments and supervision. So an ability to play, have fun, actively supervise and a good deal of common sense is essential. In addition to this, all employees of the school are expected to contribute to the wider life of the school community and candidates sholud be mindful of this when applying for the position.

Candidates must have experience of working with children from Foundation Stage to Year 6 and of working successfully with families. This job has a focus on facilitating LEARNING.

Shortlisted candidates may be observed working with children as part of the selection process and will be expected to have visited the school prior to interview.

HOURS OF WORK - 12.00-4.00pm mon - friday TERM TIME ONLY

Pay - Kent Scheme 4 pro rata.
