Briary School is looking to create the post of Behaviour Mentor for either January 2016 or soonest available. The post holder will support the effective implementation of the school’s behaviour management strategies and liaise with colleagues, parents/carers, other agencies to overcome behavioural barriers to learning.

It would suit someone with background in youth work, sports coaching, armed services, police etc. You will liaise very closely with classroom teachers, senior leaders and learning mentors to ensure that children, whose behaviour is preventing them fully achieving their potential, are given the skills to overcome this.
