HLTA for MFL (part time and permanent) Required for September 2015

 

As part of expanding our provision of modern foreign languages, we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled HLTA who will would take the lead in delivering Spanish across Key Stage 2 to facilitate non-contact time for teachers.  The successful candidate would work as Higher Level Teaching Assistant with the literacy and languages team and be responsible for delivering Spanish lessons to a whole class.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring your passion for Spanish into a primary school and foster a love of languages and inspire future learning and aspirations. It would be an ideal position for someone who is thinking about one day moving into teaching as a career.     Oaklands School is a Good school with results which are at or above national averages. We are a two form entry primary school situated in Walderslade. We also have a Children and Family Hub and Wellbeing Centre on site and so support our community from antenatal all the way to Year 6.

    The school is set in extensive grounds and is well resourced, including our own swimming pool offering swimming from Year R through to Year 6, a Forest School, our very own Farm, training kitchen, Art & Design Room, Radio Station, Running Track other superb opportunities for outside learning.
