Due to increasing pupil numbers, an opportunity to join us at Hextable Primary School has arisen.  We wish to appoint;

A full-time Teaching Assistant and a part-time Teaching Assistant (mornings only) who will be flexible and support across KS1 and KS2.  This post is term time only but includes some staff development days.

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and wants to join a committed team to ensure that all children achieve their potential in a happy and safe environment.  A flexible approach is essential in order to suit the needs of the children as the school grows and develops. A sense of humour also helps!

Experience is essential and knowledge of supporting children in a range of interventions would be desirable.  A Teaching Assistant qualification and GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent, are essential, together with IT skills. The ideal candidate should be a good and effective communicator with both children and adults, friendly and approachable, adaptable, able to work on their own initiative and with good time management skills.
