Salary:  £12,540.56 - £13,993.61 pro rata (37 hours per week/term time only)

Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires Teaching Assistants for the Early Years Foundation Stage in our primary schools at Holborough Lakes, Kings Hill and Leybourne Chase which open on 1 September 2015.

The successful candidate will:-

• Have English and Mathematics GCSE (C grade or above).
• Knowledge and experience of observations and Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Be able to support teaching staff in providing a stimulating and caring learning environment.
• Be committed to supporting and nurturing children, adopting an inclusive approach that enables them to reach their full potential.
• Motivate and inspire children to learn.
• Be able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
• Be able to adapt and respond to children’s individual emotional and physical needs.

Your duties will include:-

• Assisting with group and individual work.
• Observations.
• Providing assistance with day-to-day running of the class.
• Supervision of and engagement in play.
• Monitoring the lunch hall during mealtimes.
• Promoting good table manners.

Information about the school

The Valley Invicta Academies Trust is a Multi Academy Trust, based in Maidstone, Kent. The Trust is a family of primary and secondary schools which work in partnership to provide nothing less than outstanding education for all our young people.
