Leadership Opportunity - Teacher Main Scale + TLR payment of £2535.00

We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher to the post of Curriculum Team Leader with curriculum areas to be agreed with the successful candidate (particular strengths in Science or the Arts would be an advantage). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our middle leadership team that will drive the school to outstanding in all areas. The post holder will have a full time teaching commitment with release for management time. They will lead a team of staff including  teachers and support staff to manage a group of subject areas. The Successful candidate will have a strong knowlegde of the primary curriculum and be secure in methods to track and raise pupil attainment.

Furley Park Primary Academy currently has 510 pupils who 'have an excellent attitude to learning and their self-management is strong' (Ofsted 2010). We are currently expanding to 3 form entry.

You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of improving standards in your class. You will be able to demonstrate your involvement in whole school improvement and will have high aspirations for pupils and teachers alike.
