Due to the promotion of the previous Deputy Headteacher, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and dynamic leader who:

The successful candidate will have a varied role – currently with 3 days in class and 2 days for Leadership and Management. The opportunities to work with other schools locally, in sharing expertise as part of a Local Collaborative Trust is now developed and at an exciting stage.

We are also currently engaged in the process of actively supporting proposals to expand and relocate St. Peter's within the local area, subject to approved planning applications and so this role will provide a unique opportunity to be involved in this next stage of St. Peter’s journey.

Information about the school

St Peter's CE Primary School is a happy, successful and over subscribed school with 210 children on roll. Our school is set in a beautiful part of Tunbridge Wells. Although it is possible to easily walk into the centre of Tunbridge Wells from our school, we are set on the edge of the town in the Hawkenbury Village area. Our children live locally to our school with many walking from the surrounding roads.

We have a wonderful site, with far reaching views, forest school, a field and a beautiful new building which was completed in 2021.
