Excellent Key Stage Two Class Teacher

Are you a committed primary teacher with good and outstanding teaching?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational class teacher to begin in September 2014. If you are dedicated and passionate about learning and teaching and want to develop your curriculum leadership skills, then this could be the position for you. We are offering a real opportunity to make a positive impact across the school.

We have vacancies for both experienced class teachers, and those early in their career, who love teaching and can inspire all children to learn.

We are looking for someone who will:

• Put pupils first

• Have high expectations of all pupils and secure exceptional outcomes for all

• Be optimistic, energetic, resilient and creative

• Be active in developing positive relationships with all parents and carers

• Embrace change and innovation positively and with a good sense of humour

• Help drive our school forward to outstanding future successes

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner who can lead by exemplary practice.

We can offer:

• Fantastic children who are well behaved, enjoy school and strive to do their best

• An inspirational, dedicated and vibrant staff team

• Supportive and caring parents and governors that want the best for our children

• Opportunities for growth, development and career progression

You will be joining the school at a time of innovation and creativity as we continue to design our investigative curriculum based on the needs and interests of our children. We understand that children sometimes learn better outside the classroom, and always learn better when the curriculum is fun and will expect you to take a part in helping to create this.

Visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact Sam Parker or Gina Okere in our school office on 01322 522151.

Joydens Wood Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring service.
