Information about the school

We are a small Church of England School situated in the village of Sundridge, with approximately 80 children on roll, set in a beautiful part of Kent. We have a strong family ethos and value our close links with our parents, the wider community and local churches.

The school site is small but we have wonderful support from the community which allows us to go off site for PE lessons and Forest School throughout the year to fantastic site within close proximity to the school. We provide a wide range of pastoral support for our children and families in order to ensure that every child has the opportunity to fully experience school both inside and outside the classroom.

Sundridge & Brasted CE Primary School is part of the Darent Federation of Primary Schools. We work closely with other local schools and the Local Authority to ensure that we have the best practices in place to benefit our children and staff. We are also supported by a strong governing body.

Ofsted graded us as a GOOD school in October 2023: "This is a thoughtful, nurturing and inclusive school." "Every pupil is treated as an individual." "Pupils live up to the high expectations set by the school."

We strongly recommended visiting the school. Please contact the school office on office@sundridge.kent.sch.uk or 01959 562694 to make an appointment.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to the full Safer Recruitment process, including an enhanced DBS check on appointment, an internet search for shortlisted candidates and satisfactory references.
