Are you passionate about supporting young people and families? The Wyvern School is seeking a dedicated Student and Family Wellbeing and Attendance Support Worker to join our team on a casual relief basis.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide proactive mental health and wellbeing support to students and families.
  • Help overcome barriers to school attendance through home visits and tailored interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and external agencies to deliver support.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualification: Professional qualification in Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (e.g., RMN, Social Work degree, Counselling Diploma, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting children, young people, and families with mental health or wellbeing needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A flexible, empathetic approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding.
