Are you an inspirational teaching assistant with the experience and drive to serve children’s social and academic needs? Are you adaptable and able to bring out the best in our polite, friendly and eager pupils?

St Clement’s Church of England Primary School is looking for a teaching assistant to join our team, to provide general classroom support as well as providing support for children in small groups and 1:1.

You will be committed to providing the best learning experience for every child in our school. You need drive, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude and willingly embrace our church school values.

The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Working hours are 31.25 hours per week – Monday to Friday, term time plus one week (39 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will be an experienced and successful practitioner who enjoys working as part of a team in a child-based environment. You will benefit from working in a school where we value support staff in all aspects of school life. 

The successful applicant will be required to supervise children at playtime and/or lunch time on a rota basis - an alternative break will be provided.
