We have a unique opportunity to employ a skilled and passionate teacher (fixed term one year, extended dependent on funding) to lead our newly formed Alternative Provision. We are seeking someone who is passionate and has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and use their iniative to work collaboratively with school leaders to further develop and enhance our provision. They will work collaboratively with the class teachers and families to provide a highly tailored curriculum to meet the teaching and learning needs of the children. This will include having an understanding of a sensory curriculum. 

The successful candidate will have experience of work with individuals who are pre-verbal or have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The candidate should have a good understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the speech, language and communication needs of children, delivering a Total Communication Approach to aid the children's communication needs.

Repton Manor Primary School is a mixed-gender foundation primary school for children aged 4 to 11, located at Repton Avenue, Ashford, Kent, TN23 3RX.
