Advert

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we move into a brand new building. We are looking for a highly motivated person who is an accomplished DIYer with basic skills in woodwork, plumbing, decorating and cleaning and have the ability to manage staff, including a small team of cleaners and external contractors, have experience of health and safety, or an interest in developing knowledge in this area.

You will ensure that the school is fully functional at all times and take responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of a safe and secure site, to provide the best possible environment for our school community.

We can offer you a happy, settled and supportive school community, wonderful children and the chance to work in a beautiful setting.

Visits to the school to meet the Headteacher and tour the site are strongly encouraged.

Information about the school

Teynham is a semi rural location with good transport links (both bus and train, being walking distance from Teynham train station). Currently we have 200 pupils in seven classes. The school has spacious school grounds, including playgrounds, sports field, wellbeing area and environmental areas, including a Forest School. We have strong links with the Pre-school (situated on site) and local church. We work as a team supporting each other and ensuring that we do the best for our children. The school is undergoing an exciting transformation and work on the new build is almost complete, with expansion to two form entry, planned for September 2025.
