Salary:                                 KR6 £12,764 pro rata (£25,380 full time equivalent)

Working Hours:                21 hours a week, 8-4pm with an unpaid hour for lunch three days a week

40 weeks a year (term time plus 2 weeks to include the period around GCE and GCSE results days in August)

JOB DESCRIPTION

 We are seeking to recruit a Sixth Form Study Centre Manager to take the lead in sustaining and developing further a strong culture of independent study in the Sixth Form and provide administrative support to the Sixth Form staff team. We are looking for a confident and assured person to create and maintain a positive environment for focused private study. The post-holder will ensure Sixth Formers, in particular targeted students complete set work for subject staff. The role will also involve supporting our Sixth Form team in providing advice and guidance regarding Higher Education and careers choices, in particular supporting the UCAS applications process, used by students to apply to university. The post-holder will also be the administrator for applications to the Sixth Form, and support in monitoring attendance of Sixth Form students. The role includes some liaison between parents and members of the Sixth Form team, for example in setting up appointments.
