Job Description

Receptionist/Administrator required term time plus 2 weeks – Monday to Friday  8am – 4 pm. 

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Receptionist with a professional approach who enjoys a variety of work in a busy environment.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure is essential. 

You will be dealing with staff, students and a variety of visitors on all levels where a confident and confidential manner is essential.  Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision, be extremely well organised and meet deadlines. 

Candidates will have a high level of administration, IT and communication skills and ideally, previous experience working in a school.

You will understand the necessity for confidentiality and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school reception.

Ripplevale School is situated over two sites. Ripplevale Lower School is situated in Broadstairs, teaching a Primary provision and Ripplevale Upper School is based in the village of Ripple near Deal, for our Secondary and Post 16 provision.

We have a committed and dedicated team which includes teachers, teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants, a range of therapists, administrative staff and support staff. All play a significant role in the education and development of each pupil and work to create a warm, informal, friendly atmosphere in which the pupils feel secure, safe and confident.
