We are looking to recruit a Facilities/Cleaning Officer to join our team covering our schools in Folkestone and Canterbury.. The successful canidate will be responsible for locking the schools and making all safety checks at the end of the day. Duties will include ad-hoc repairs to the school building and grounds.  Inspecting and patroling the school building and grounds as well as carrying out cleaning duties. This will involve mopping, dusting, vacuuming, empyting bins, cleaning corridors, toilet areas and all related duties. You will also be required to move furniture and use heavy duty cleaning equipment. You must have a can-do attitude and work well in a team. Previous industrial cleaning essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of facilities and operational functions (desirabe)
  • Experience of working with, or willing to be trained in the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAPM) (Essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable)
  • Own Transport (Desirable)
  • Be Reliable and Trustworthy
