Set in the Kent countryside, between Ashford and Lenham, Egerton Church of England Primary School is a one form entry primary school with 184 children on roll. Naturally the children are our greatest asset and the school plays a central part in the village community.

We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school, committed to providing the highest quality education for all pupils in an atmosphere where our Christian faith is evident in all we teach and do together. Our aim is to create a community where our core values of perseverance, compassion, respect, forgiveness, honesty and hope are always present. All members – children, teachers, parents, staff and governors - play a key part in building community and we encourage with praise; we teach by example; we lead with respect for all.

We have an enthusiastic and welcoming staff team who are committed to providing a safe and happy environment which nurtures every child, which encourages them to develop their personal talents and which challenges them to achieve the highest academic standard. We believe the induction of new staff members is key, and have training opportunities available in school, as well as encouraging our staff to work collaboratively with each other. We have a very supportive governing body, as well as an active parent association who are keen to help fund improvements in our curriculum and school grounds.
