Hours: 32 hours a week 8am – 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday (term time only including 5 INSET days)

As a thriving primary school, we are looking for a dynamic and highly organised Office Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our school office.

As the Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, and staff, providing exceptional administrative support. You will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring that all school procedures run smoothly. From overseeing attendance records to managing budgets and coordinating diary dates, you will be the heartbeat of our school’s administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the school’s office and administrative systems

- Provide excellent customer service to parents, staff, and visitors

- Maintain student records, attendance, and school databases

- Coordinate calendars, school events, and meetings

- Oversee the school’s budget, invoicing, and financial records

- Organise lettings

- Assist the Headteacher and senior staff with administrative tasks

 

About You: 

We are looking for someone with a warm, friendly, proactive attitude who can handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of organisation. You should be a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Skills:

- Strong administrative and organisational skills

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Experience in office admin and finance in an educational setting

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

- A flexible, proactive and positive approach to work

- Experience working in a school or similar environment

- Knowledge of school management software (e.g., SIMS, ParentMail)
