We are seeking to appoint a committed, part time Teaching Assistant to be part of our
dedicated team and support our wonderful children.
This is a term time only position (38 weeks + 5 INSET days), Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am –
3:15pm starting immediately (subject to all required checks).
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 24th September 
The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in supporting individual pupils , undertaking small
group interventions (in and outside of the classroom) .
The post will involve some lunchtime supervision (giving you the opportunity to engage with
all our inspirational children).

The position is funded by high needs funidng so is for one academic year to start with, although there may be the chance to extend this 
You:
The ideal candidate will have a good level of English and maths. Previous experience of
supporting/working with children would be advantageous but is not essential. We are
happy to consider candidates who are quick learners, can adapt to change and think on their
feet.

a good sense of humour

Ulcombe Primary School is a unique, small voluntary controlled Church of England Primary School for 4-11 year olds, located in the heart of the Kent countryside in Maidstone, Kent. The excellent pupil to staff ratio enables much smaller than average class sizes which contributes to the very special ethos around our school. Classrooms are spacious and very well-resourced. Our grounds are extensive and equally well resourced. Our school values not only the development of each child's academic ability but also strives to nurture the whole child through a creative and extended curriculum. This curriculum has been particularly praised by Ofsted for it robust nature an the opportunities it provides for every child to thrive. Ulcombe Primary School prides itself on being an inclusive school where learning is enjoyed and children are engaged and happy.
