SIXTH FORM STUDY SUPPORT SUPERVISOR

REQUIRED SEPTEMBER 2024 

The Norton Knatchbull School is looking for a Sixth Form Study Support Supervisor to work Monday – Friday, 08:45 – 15:15. The post is term time only plus 2 INSET days – 38.4 weeks per year.  Salary is Kent Range 7 - £26,515 (Pro rata £18,369.59 – 30 hours per week). 

The role will involve overseeing the effective use of the Sixth Form study facilities to ensure that students are engaged and maximising potential – particularly in private supervised study – and as part of the broader Sixth Form team.    

The successful candidate will coordinate and lead 1-2-1 and group mentoring of specific students to support improved outcomes. 

You should have good interpersonal skills, be computer literate, have a flexible approach to work and the ability to work well under pressure. This post would suit graduates who would like to gain school experience before embarking on a career in teaching or someone who already has experience of providing support in the classroom.  Please include details of your areas of academic expertise in your application.
