The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Behaviour Support Officer, to start from September 2024.  You will work as part of the Pastoral Team to provide disaffected/vulnerable students with the appropriate support. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience of working with children who display challenging behaviour and have an ability to motivate and encourage students back into mainstream lessons.

This is an exciting time to join The Howard with a number of significant changes planned for the future that will support our move towards excellence. 

This is a full time, permanent role, Term Time Only + 1 week, paid based on the NJC payscale C1 points 6-19 (FTE £23,893- £29,777 – actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis).
