A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at St. Paul's Church of England Primary School.

We require an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 3 from September, on a temporary contract linked to the child.

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday

This person will support a child with special educational needs, within a small group or individually. 

The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with children with complex needs. You need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how to support a child with these needs within the mainstream setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop further skills and expertise within this field of education. You will work as part of a very supportive team who have positive relationships with outside agencies. We are committed to the inclusion of all children within our care.

  • Has experience of working with children with speech and langauge difficulties;

  • Shows excellent communication and organisation skills;

St. Paul’s Church of England (VC) Primary School, Swanley Village, has an enviable reputation as a welcoming, caring, high performing primary school. The school was graded Good by Ofsted in January 2020 and Good in its SIAMS inspection, 2019. We are part of The Compass Federation which includes St. Edmund's Church of England Primary School and Dunton Green Primary School.

Demand for places far exceeds the number available. We have four mixed aged classes with 15 pupils in each year group.
