Careers Leader 

Term Time, part-time (3 days per week)  

19.5 hours per week over 3 days (see job profile for details)

Salary: currently £29,167-£32,170 FTE (actual £13,148 to £14,502) per annum, depending on experience 

 

We are seeking an inspirational, enthusiastic and forward-thinking Careers Leader with a passion for and real interest in the provision of high-quality careers guidance, to support our exceptional students in their career aspirations and personal development.   

Join our friendly and committed staff 

You will take the lead responsibility and accountability for the delivery of our school’s programme of careers advice and guidance.   Working closely with the Higher Education Coordinator, Heads of Years, Form Tutors and external organisations, you will ensure that careers provision is relevant to each year group and is in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Educating girls aged 11 to 16 years with a co-ed sixth form, TGS regularly features in listings of the top ranked schools in the South East and the UK.  In our most recent inspection in 2019 we were rated outstanding in every area by Ofsted. We have a vibrant enrichment programme and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. There is a real sense of community with staff, students and parents/carers working together.
