River Mill is looking to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager and SENCO to join our primary school in Dartford with an immediate start date (subject to pre checks).

The salary will be KR7 £26,000 FTE (£24,400 actual) - Term time only (38 weeks), starting at 8.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday

The right candidate:

  • must have an Early Years Qualification (Level 2 or 3)
  • experience of working within an early years setting
  • up to date knowledge and clear understanding of the requirements in EYFS
  • experience of planning within the EFYS curriculum
  • willingness to attend meetings and training appropriate to the role
  • experience of working with children with additional needs
  • have relevant experience delivering the EYFS framework within a pre-school or nursery setting
  • have a secure knowledge of child development
  • must work well as part of a small team and
  • bring excitement into the curriculum.

River Mill is a new free school that has opened in the centre of Dartford. We are part of Connect Schools Academy Trust, which is a MAT with six like-minded schools in Dartford, Tonbridge and Bromley. We will be Combining with Compass Academy Trust from September 2024. This enables us to deliver highly effective CPD opportunities and structure for professional development and career progression.
