Second in Charge of Maths

 

Required for Easter or September 2023.  Salary M1-UPS3 dependent on experience, with a TLR2a for curriculum leadership responsibility.

If you feel that you can answer ‘Yes’ to all of the above, Northfleet Technology College is the school for you!  We are seeking someone to take on the role of Second in Charge of Maths, working closely with our Director of Maths to support this enthusiastic team as they continue to develop. We have excellent resources and believe in a creative and caring approach to ensure students achieve the highest standards.   This is delivered from Key Stage 3 through to the International Baccalaureate at Key Stage 5.

 

We are looking for a person to take on this exciting role who can demonstrate the following:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (with an appropriate degree or desire to train)
  • The ability to set high expectations for students behaviour & achievements
  • The capacity to work collaboratively in a team
  • A secure knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and pedagogy
  • A passion to go beyond in developing staff and wider school improvement priorities
