Do you believe in hands on practical learning? Do you champion the importance of practical skills such as design, wood work, metal work, plumbing, electrics?

Would you inspire our children and staff and build their confidence and skills using tools, materials and practical approaches? Are you passionate and skilled in developing individual, group and class practical approaches to learning? 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a skilled DT Specialist to inspire and teach the children, staff and communities.  

We are on a quest to find our Lightyear DT Specialist who will work with Greatstone Primary School and Repton Manor Primary School:

  • Lead group and class learning in a diverse range of practical, exciting and safe activities.
  • Develop confidence and expertise of children and staff in a range of skills.
  • Embed an ambitious and enthusing DT offer to all children aged 3-11.
  • Communicate with children, staff, families and the community regarding practical skills.
  • Champion learning all subjects through practical application across the federation and impact on all areas of learning.
