Brook Community Primary School - A Small School on a Big Adventure - is looking for a new teacher to join our wonderful, dedicated team.

We are looking for a brilliant teacher to teach our KS1 mixed-age class in September. This is a permanent, full-time position.

We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.

The ideal applicant will be passionate about providing an inclusive, nurturing and ambitious curriculum so our pupils flourish, both academically and personally.

We are looking for a teacher who understands the many benefits of working in a small, rural school, for example, our family ethos, but also has a good understanding of the challenges, such as mixed-age classes.

The ideal applicant should have a good understanding of child development and of how children learn, and be able to enthuse, engage and challenge children in their learning journey.

We can provide plenty of opportunities for CPD from within the school, through external training and using the expertise of other schools which form part of the CARE Foundation Trust.

You must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors in order to support learners in a range of environments as we make use of our beautiful surroundings.

We can offer you:

  • A friendly family ethos
  • A staff team who are caring and committed
  • A supportive leadership team
