'Making Positive Choices for A Brighter Future'

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful team of passionate educators in a thriving and outward facing primary school.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can model and inspire children to love learning, develop independence and a sense of responsibility for themselves and others and who can help to shape our children and school to achieve our vision of 'A Brighter Future'

Currently we have a huge amount of flexibility with the role.

We are in the position where we will be looking for a full time teacher from September 2023 to teach in an upper keystage 2 class.

Alternatively we are also looking for a teacher on a temporary basis to support our children through from 1st May to the end of the academic year. This could be either full time or part-time.

If you are a great teacher, who is creative, ambitious and embraces innovation, who can work harmoniously as part of a strong and encompassing team, willing to take on challenges and constantly strive to improve aspects of school life, committed to safeguarding children, we would love you to make the choice to join our Brookland Family.

We can offer you a wonderful working environment, the support of inspirational staff, supportive parents and amazing children.

Set in the picturesque village of Brookland in an area of outstanding natural beauty and with excellent road links to Ashford, Rye, Tenterden and Folkestone & Hythe.

If you are looking for the next challenge in your career, Brookland can offer a range of opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.

If you are looking for that small school 'uniqueness' with huge aspirations, we are the school for you. Make that positive choice and come and see for yourself.

You will be very welcome.

To arrange a visit or if you want to simply chat about the role, please contact the school office on 01797 344317 or email headteacher@brookland.kent.sch.uk

We promote the highest standards of learning behaviour and believe that anyone who enters our school is a role model for how we should treat each other. Our children develop strong moral values rooted in our school’s Christian vision and this religious character is a very important dimension to our life and work at Brookland.

We have strong links with the church of St. Augustine’s in the village and the wider community.
