St Nicholas School Canterbury are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and professional ICT Network Manager to join our SEN school. This exciting opportunity now exists for a first line support / helpdesk ICT Network Manager.

Any experience of working within a school environment will be of great advantage, but these are not essential requirements and the candidate should be able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with staff and suppliers.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • A sound educational background with good levels of achievement in English, Maths and IT.
  • A strong commitment to self-improvement and learning.
  • To be flexible with a proactive nature.
  • To work well as part of a team, with the skills and ability to also work independently.
  • To have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of maintaining a range of end-user devices in a customer facing environment for 2+ years
  • Experience with Office 365, Azure, Intune, Teams and OneDrive
  • Must hold a full driving license as the school is split over 8 sites. The role is primarily based at Holm Oak Close, Canterbury, but you will be required to attend to support requests at our satellite provisions.


The role is for 37 hours per week Full Time

Information about the school

St Nicholas School is an SEN school with 355 pupils on role aged 4-19 years. We are a friendly and caring school situated in the historic city of Canterbury. St Nicholas operates on a number of sites and works closely with partner schools and Canterbury College to provide a wide range of opportunities for all its pupils. St Nicholas is also the base for the Outreach team of teachers who support children with special needs in mainstream schools.

The staff are professional, enthusiastic, dedicated and strive to provide all pupils with the best possible education.

St Nicholas works closely with parents and carers to ensure the needs of all pupils are met. Pupils at St Nicholas achieve well and make good progress. We have some excellent specialist resources and facilities and we are very proud of our school community.
