We are looking to appoint a highly effective HNF 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work in our school. The position is for 30 hours per week during term time.

Do you enjoy the thrill of helping children learn within a fun and caring team?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented TA to support a child within KS1/KS2. The applicant will need to have relevant qualifications and current experience of working within a school.

  • passionate about securing positive outcomes for children?
  • highly motivated, organised and flexible in the way you work to best meet children's needs?
  • an effective communicator, highly skilled in building positive relationships with children, parents and professionals?
  • A strong advocate of support for children with SEND needs to achieve their best outcomes through inclusive practice?

Information about the school

Greatstone Primary School is a Foundation School with ten classes and approximately 250 children. We also have a 40 place Nursery on site. We are a well maintained rural school set in large open grounds close to the sandy beaches of the south east coast and the unique landscape and nature reserve at Dungeness. The school has good access by road and is about 30 minutes drive from both Ashford and Folkestone.

The School and Nursery have a very good reputation within the local area and is renowned for the excellent behaviour of its children and the high expectations of its staff. We have a reputation for delivering a high standard of education in a friendly, happy and supportive environment. The school was rated Good in its last OFSTED inspection carried out during May 2022.
