We are seeking to appoint a School Receptionist and Administration Office Assistant to act as the initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, parents and pupils with a professional, helpful and friendly approach to build positive ongoing relationships. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and have excellent IT skills and office experience. 

The person will also be responsible for providing a flexible, productive and responsive administrative service to the teaching team and management team thereby contributing towards the smooth running of the school. It is important that the post-holder can bring the flexible approach needed to adapt to both the peaks and troughs of the school year and the future evolution of the team. He/She will be expected to work as part of a team and independently in effectively meeting the demands of a busy office and school environment including administrative whole school responsibilities.

The central focus of the City of Rochester curriculum is the natural world and STEM, combining outdoor learning with a rigorous academic programme.

Hours of work are between 8.30am and 4.30pm for 3 days per week - ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday for 43 weeks per year.
